Google Removes Gemini Pro Models From $4.99 AI Plus Plan Starting November 13

Google has begun emailing subscribers of its $4.99/month Gemini AI Plus plan to inform them that access to Gemini Pro models will be removed starting on November 13, 2026. After the cutoff date, AI Plus members will only be able to select the Flash-Lite and Flash models in both the Gemini app and AI Mode in Google Search, while existing Pro chats can be continued using a different model. Selecting Pro models or the new Gemini 4 Argon model will require subscribing to the $19.99/month Google AI Pro tier or AI Ultra, leaving free-tier users with access to Flash-Lite.
